From 12 to 24 years of age, my life encompassed alcohol addiction, moral deterioration, and physical breakdown. Were it not for God’s mercy; I would be dead. I now live by faith through Jesus Christ. My faith in Jesus Christ allows me to have a relationship with God. John 14:6-7, Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you know me, you will know my Father also.” Jesus Christ has forgiven my sins and I, in turn, enjoy a lived-out spiritual experience by surrendering my life to Him. I pray my heart remains humble and obedient so I may be a model for true humanity.
